As director of the Coalition, Athena is responsible for multi-agency Intelligent Transportation Systems facility operations and technology deployment, information dissemination, standards development, incident management, and regional collaboration across international boundaries.
Athena’s professional career includes over fifteen years of working in transportation consulting on both the international and regional levels. Athena’s previous experience in design, construction and management for many modes of transportation includes intelligent transportation systems, toll plaza and public transportation.
Athena Hutchins is a Licensed New York State Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an Associates in Applied Science from College of Technology at Alfred.
